Total flexibility. Those are the creative projects we like. Jenn from Jenn Austin-Driver Photography in Millbrook, Ontario contacted Empty Cup looking for a company profile video – but they were looking to have their clients get a feel for their characters as opposed to their business mission statement.
Carla and Colin shot Jenn and her husband, Matt, making pancakes, antiquing, shooting a bride and playing with their dog and daughter. Jenn wrote a script, Colin licenced music from www.themusicbed.com and then cut together an art piece that highlights what Jenn and Matt are really like.
This was a challenging piece to edit since there was no obvious linear order of the material we shot. Colin had to build sequences from scratch to marry with the audio to make this piece work.
Wedding photography is a personal field. Shooters are beside their clients all day. This video breaks the ice with potential clients so when they come in to meet with Jenn Austin-Driver Photography, they will feel like they already know them 🙂
