12 Feb Royal Ashburn 50th Anniversary
Royal Ashburn Golf Club is 50 years old! Colin attended the event to record the speeches made by Wilson Paterson, Dick Eng and many other dignitaries in attendance. Guests were given a book about the 50 years of Royal Ashburn (signed by Wilson, the president of Royal Ashburn), they heard live music on the patio and were piped into the reception hall by a bagpipe player.
It was great to witness the golden anniversary of such a great golf club. Colin is a talented golfer as well so he felt proud as a Durham resident as well as a golfer. Congratulations Royal Ashburn!
